Noted advisor to labor organizations and benefit plans, Dave has served as the managing partner and president of Bond Beebe since 2002.  He has substantial experience in providing accounting and auditing services for local, national and international labor organizations and their related Taft-Hartley employee benefit plans.  Dave has expertise in all aspects of federal reporting and compliance.

Dave has performed highly specialized work in forensic and operational auditing and has often been called upon to testify as an expert witness in these areas.  He has also managed audits for a variety of other clients, including private schools, trade associations, and other not-for-profit organizations.

Larry Beebe has 40 years of experience in public accounting, over 20 years as head of Bond Beebe’s Audit Department, and is one of the Principals responsible for final review of accounting and auditing engagements.  He is the Principal-in-Charge on several of the Firm’s largest and most complex financial audit and accounting engagements.  One of his specialties is taking care of the firm’s labor union and employee benefit clients.

Recognized as an expert in the labor field, Larry is highly regarded among labor organizations for his substantial experience in auditing international, national and local unions, Taft-Hartley employee benefit funds, and employers to collectively bargained agreements.  He is a frequent speaker for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and has served as the chair of its accounting committee and its continuing education committee, and is currently a member of its finance committee.  Larry has served as an advisory director of the IFEBP.  He has also served on the AICPA Employee Benefit Expert Panel and he continues to work on the annual update of the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Audit Guide.

With over 13 years of experience, Scott has developed expertise in all aspects of federal reporting and compliance for employee benefit plans and labor unions and in auditing and consulting for defined benefit, defined contribution pension and health and welfare plans.  Scott has hands-on experience in overseeing some of the Firm’s largest audits for both local and international labor organizations and their related employee benefit plans.

Additionally, Scott has conducted audits for Training Funds, Political Action Funds, Agency Fee and Fair Share Calculations and a variety of Building Corporations.  His broad experience encompasses agreed upon procedures such as a variety of payroll audits, fraud audits, internal controls consulting, claims audits, and management consulting.  Scott is also proficient in preparing Forms 990, 990-T, 5500 and LM-2.

An experienced professional, Sherwin has worked on numerous audits of labor unions and their related benefit plans since joining the Firm almost fifteen years ago.  He primarily focuses on audits of local and international labor organizations including the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.

Additionally, Sherwin has undertaken special projects including forensic auditing and the audits of local unions placed under trusteeship.  He is also experienced in the preparation Forms 990, 990-T, LM-2, and 5500.
